I've been following this stock closely for the last 5 months, mainly because its name kept popping up in various magazine reviews regarding software evaluations. After digging in more following the big change in management, I really liked what I saw in terms of product focus and the quick implementation of strategic change by top management. Although the financials look bad, this company still has great products. As Paul stated previously, and I concur, software companies generally can be more easily turned around. It appears from the last two months of activities that the president has really moved fast to cut the losing areas while focusing on the revenue-generating ones. Meanwhile she's managing to sell off the money-draining parts at what appears to be fair-market values rather than fire sales. Also, considering her background it really makes sense that the moves are geared to making the company an attractive buy-out candidate. If I have one criticism so far, it's only that SW hasn't done more to
publicize the success its achieved so far in improving the company's status from just 3-4 months ago.
