Here you guys are!! I was wondering why nobody was posting on the TMRT thread anymore. TMRTE..duh...I swear sometimes I can be as dumb as a crooked attorney who thinks he can start an internet company. Anyway, I'm surprised no one has posted the new class action suit. Here it is:

My, my, my......another law suit.

Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy Files Class- Action Lawsuit Against 2TheMart.com Inc.
Jump to first matched term
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1999--The Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy Thursday issued the following.

Pursuant to Section 21(D)(A)(3)(a)(i) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Notice is hereby given that a Class Action has been commenced in the United States District Court Central District of California on behalf of a class (the "Class") consisting of all persons who purchased the common stock of 2TheMart.com Inc., ("2TheMart") (OTC BB:TMRTE) between January 19, 1999, and August 26, 1999, inclusive (the "Class Period").

The Complaint charges 2TheMart and certain of its officers and directors with violations of federal securities laws. Among other things, plaintiff claims that defendants' material omissions and the dissemination of materially false and misleading statements regarding the availability of the Company's Web site artificially inflated the stock price during the Class Period. More specifically, 2TheMart continually stated that its Internet auction Web site, its only product, was "in final development" and would be available in the "second quarter of 1999."

Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of Class members and is represented by the Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy, a law firm with significant experience in prosecuting class actions and substantial expertise in actions involving corporate fraud.

If you are a member of the Class described above, you may move the Court, not later than 60 days from September 13, 1999, to serve as lead plaintiff; however, you must meet certain legal requirements. If you wish to discuss this action or have any questions concerning this Notice or your rights or interests with respect to these matters, please contact Lionel Z. Glancy, Esquire, or Michael Goldberg, Esquire, of the Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy, 1801 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 311, Los Angeles, California 90067; by telephone at 888/773-9224; or by e-mail to info@glancylaw.com.
