Up to his dying day he maintained that anyone was free to prove him wrong on the mudhole theory and the rest of it.

Everyone thinks Sagan was such a nut but I maintain he added more to science than so many others (Hawking) based on his ability to communicate. I thoroughly enjoyed "Contact"... a 5 kitty rating film.
