Lou, how many computers do you see today that come with 5 1/4" floppies? They went away. Why? Because they couldn't satisfy the need for increased storage capacity.

What recent drive is causing increased storage to be needed? The move towards downloading large graphical files from the internet.

Iomega's Zip and Jazz drive won't only become a standard, they will also aid the internet industry in moving forward at a faster rate. Evidence of this is in the ACER internet box. Internet boxes were criticized for not being able to download large files. Now the Zip will make the internet box much more powerful. Acer's competitors will have a hard time unless they include the Zip or Jazz drive also.

Iomega has positioned itself nicely to become the solution for the internet. The floppy will not satisfy the needs of internet users. Therefore the Zip will become a standard.
