Yes, it would require: Demonstration that Rambus actually does provide some significant amount of higher performance in real systems on real apps that a large part of the market actually uses with the additional performance truly due to Rambus and not due to a rigged comparison by using a better chip set or faster processor or handicapped sdram, etc. AND Demonstration that the technology actually works in mass production of PCs with very low failure rates. AND Demonstration that chip costs can be contained to a small premium that would at least match the performance increase. Well I take that back because it will never happen so let me just say "contained to a small premium." If all this happens I will be back into rmbs and I will apologize to all of you that I've been arguing with on this thread. But if the above does not happen then you all really should consider selling.
