Disagree, kind of. Even though Dan gave the wrong answer, he brought up a good point when he was discussing AMD. Intel doesn't have to offer alternatives -- Via and all the others can offer those alternatives. Via can bring out a chipset that support DDR DRAM for the PIII, and if performance is better, it will pick up more market share. And just as we saw with PC-133, Intel would probably react by doing the same. We'll just have to see what support is provided by all the chipset vendors. Intel doesn't have 100% share in this chipset market, as much as they'd like to.>
