shorting cup&handles...when the market was weak a month ago, visx had formed a cup and handle. when it broke the wrong way, (ie. below the base it had formed on the handle), i went short immediately. you can see the 2-3 day collapse on the chart from around 100 to 70. unfortunately, i was only in for about 8 of the points. i asked then if this was common (ie. short breaks the cup and handle, it shoots down) but no one answered....
