no mr. nerd, you miss the point. rmbs transition began 2 years ago. ALL the dram makers had a choice. intel even boosted mu and samsung along. nec turned down their help. memory was at a dead end and intc saw a new tech. to use . it didn't keep that secret very long . rmbs was not "sprung" on an unsuspecting industry. intc does offer a choice. as an oem ,pick what ever mother board you want. you don't have to use intc tech if you don't want to. use via., design your own. packard bell probably still has some they will sell you cheap. hey if the world doesn't demand rmbs. it won't fly. we will see. rocky . ps. don't look now , but your pocket-protector sprung a leak.
