No one reading your posts would ever think you insulated from the world, Ish! I would guess that I am far, far more insulated. All I did was show my own ignorance by thinking Stone Soup a children's book only. I should have said, How neat. I thought it was just a children's book! Really excellent children's literature is capable of moving deeply and sharing wisdom in a simple way. It often draws on the myths and legends of a culture and so is familiar to all and it can bring tears to the eyes of stalwart men.
