An article by Glassman/Hassett in a recent Atlantic Monthly claims that the Dow-Jones average ought to be 36,000! A post (#28317) on the Cisco thread describes Glassman/Hassett's calculation that Cisco is really worth anywhere from $122 to $399, based on the same theory that produced the 36,000 Dow-Jones average. Glassman/Hassett seem to be getting a lot of attention, but their valuation model gives grossly optimistic valuations. I have detailed some of the problems with their method in Post #28370 on the Cisco thread.
