Dear Tom,

The selling pressure was evident throughout the net leaders. Noticed the charts between CHINA, AMZN, AOL, YAHOO, EBAY, and CMGI and you will see the selling pressure began early in the morning for all stocks and continued into the afternoon.

However, you will also noticed that CHINA was the only one to seriously challenge the selling in the sector. This tells me that with a sector reversal to net gains, CHINA will lead the pack with percentage gains as it clearly wanted to fly Friday but was held down by the sector's weakness.

Either way, I'm looking for the markets to make some gains next week since the S&P 500 bounced off its 200 day moving average pretty solid on Thursday afternoon.
