Dan,
What I was saying is that (I think) it is okay to respect other processes or belief systems. that in respecting them, it does not detract from your own beliefs. what I can't understand is how you can take offence at others not respecting your religion, while saying that you can't respect someone elses.

The guy from Ft. Worth was intentionally causing physical harm to people, there is no denying the fact the caused harm. You can believe that other beliefs cause spiritual harm, but you only believe that, you don't have proof. My beliefs are not causing harm, or spreading hatred(in fact they try to spread inclusion and love, regardless weather you believe the same way) Emile preaches hatred. He causes divisiveness, and trys to get people to hate all who are unlike him(even other Christians).

In my view, a belief system brings you closer to God when it brings yo to a point of loving people, of uniting people, of compassion for all. IMO, if someone's belief system doesn't do that, it doesn't bring them any closer to God.

Mark
