It's Guvmint baseball - you retire with a pension that has doubled at each base, and move on to become an obscenely-paid consultant/board member/seat filler -g-

Yes, it would be great to know who's trading through First Marathon, eh?
The list of suspects is not all that long, though ...

As you pointed out in your StreetWire Message 10955815
[great overview and historical detail, btw - somewhere we should collect all your StreetWires on the diamond stocks, they are very useful]
... anyway, as you pointed out, near-term financing is crucial - the next development is logically Camatchia, the one after that Koidu ... each would cost around 20milUS$ to reach full production [does that sound right?] ...... the share price will fare much better if the money is raised through a loan rather than more cheap paper ... if that is possible .... just the fact that a lender would have the confidence to loan against Angolan assets would lift market perception of the company's prospects, i would think .... eh?

Now if our RSA allies would exercise some of those cheapo warrants, the funds [added to the current cash flow] would go a long way toward building Camatchia, those particular warrants wouldn't be overhanging the stock any more, and we would all do very well indeed. But i wonder - does New Mining want the share price to improve, or to fall? ... or do they even care, in the short term? ... and what are their long-term plans for dmw - take it over or use it as a vehicle to build a major diamond producer? .. that's sort of a central question from which much else follows, eh.

Good to see you here, Will. I like this one a lot at current prices, the blue sky is quite evident when dividing the market cap into the assets and earnings potential, and recent trends are encouraging ... BUT your style of attention to detail of various risks involved is important ... FM can't hold the share price down for long with dmw's current production, but problems with the financing of Camatchia could sure help them, eh.
Off to check the SW thread now ..... cheers
