<<Wouldn't an "insanely great" AAPL PDA leapfrog current technology if it had voice I/O - particularly if IBM was included ?>>

All they have to do is put a 400 Mhz G3 chip in it and IBM is automatically included.

It's too obvious to ignore even though no one is talking much about it.

-Low power, cool-running G3 chips
-Handheld with Mac OS (Sys 6.05, 7.5, 8.2 or X?)
-Backward compatibility to all the old Mac titles (MS Word 5.0 on a handheld running 400 Mhz - it was designed for Macs at 66 Mhz - spellchecks and such would be instantaneous!)
-Voice activation, digital record and playback features
-Cool colors
-(here's a new one to throw in) compatibility with Handspring Visor's plug-in modules. Heck there's enough speed to run Palm OS in emulation mode!
-Newton handwriting recognition

I'd buy one today if they developed it?
