This week saw very little overall change for the group. The
group was up 1 percent (helped along considerably by the
announced merger between MASK and PLAB) while the SOX-X had
no gain or loss for the week.

There were 20 stocks up, 1 stayed the same, and 15 were
down. SMTL and DPMI were the big losers for the week in
being down over 10 percent. The big news, of course, was
the merger of MASK with PLAB, causing MASK to increase by 32
percent. The top 6 stocks for this week were up by 10
percent or more.
