Viking Confirms On-Line Bank Market Growth In Line With Strategic Plans
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1999--New research released by two prominent Internet research firms shows that the projected growth in the online banking market is in line with estimates previously released by Viking Capital Group, Inc. (OTC BB: VGCP - news).

The results of a Forrester Research survey found that while only five percent of households bank online today, that number is expected to climb to 17 million households within the next three years. According to another survey - this one by The Online Banking Report - reports that online banking is expected to achieve 20 to 25 percent market penetration totaling 25 million U.S. households within the next 36 months.

Viking has positioned itself to be the benefactor of this emerging market and will employ all its resources to capture market share.
