Hi Charlie; I've been away from SI for a while and so haven't posted and therefore haven't had a chance to catch up with how you are doing either. Anyhow; just saying hello. Sold 2/3 of PAIR last week for a nice profit; but probably will miss out on extra money. It's been too much of a yo yo and I'm playing it like I should have many times over before. This time of course will be the time not to do it that way; but I'm going to take my chances. Had a nice turn in VSVR and still hold that one. MXTR is getting to be like PAIR; I should sell every time it moves up. Market looks lousy and its like 3 to 4 down; one to two up; no good for anything but quick in and out; no good for any kind of long play. A point or two max. on most plays and they have to be taken immediately or you are right back or at a loss. Knowing that; I haven't gotten trapped yet; but this isn't big money times either. Just little stuff at best. I'm waiting and hoping for this to cave in; but we aren't seeing any evidence of that. Semi and Semi Equipment plus networking has been ok. SEG has been a trading cash register if played in the range bound way it is. Oh yeah; I didn't have the crystal ball either. You just never know with any of these. MRVC, AFCI, ORTL; all in major recovery mode. So is RMDY. PSFT probably is a great play at this point. Didn't play SFAM; though that should have been a no brainer and why I didn't? Frozen thinking this market is going to dump off any time and no guts. I'm determined not to get caught in the next downdraft. I'm not going to hesitate when things present at ridiculous lows again. Y2K might not be much of an event. They'll hype it like hurricane Floyd though and there might really be some deepseated fear emerge. Like Floyd; Y2K might look like a huge thing to most people. Personally; I think we are pretty well prepared in the US. Now we might get nuked by the Russians by accident because of it; but then; if that happens; we won't know or care. I'm sitting at ground zero next to the Pentagon with Quantico just south; so I'll be vapor with this scenario. Anyhow; don't be a complete stranger.
