Wow, you're up early. Yeh, we replaced some carpet and I did some painting and wallpapering. Yuck. More maintenance than remodeling though. We had three rooms and a hallway of wall to wall cleaned Friday. Took them 1 1/2 hours and cost $130. Really did a nice job. All the equipment was in a van and they used long hoses. Much better than the rental cleaners. I've never seen stainless steel cabinets outside of restaurants. I did have our porcelain sink removed and replaced with a stainless sink. Plumber thought I was nuts as the porcelain costs more. But the stainless is easier to keep clean and if I bump a dish on it the dish doesn't shatter.
