Ed, Quite an impressive take on investing in light of the "normal" conversations at SI; i.e. market timing, averaging down, penny stocks, bottom fishing--you get the picture. My IRA's could use a little of your "conservatism". I like the downside protection and yes, the upside is limited, but the gain at that limit is still alot better than a money market account. Can you write options in an IRA? I am long on AXC, but do grow tired of the KM talk. The other storage companies are continually coming out with greater capacity disks, Apple is wrapping Zip with it's product, etc. AXC has for a long time been a R&D techhead type company and it's results still show in it's stock price. I have heard the arguements for KM and surely they are valid, but the other advancements may outpace KM soon if they don't get it on the market. All IMHO. Charles
