To All:

Apple's Ex-Performa line unveiled today is impressive, including the
announcement of 2 new Pc compatible Macs.

I hear a lot of people say "Fire Emilio (sic)", "Amelio is Apple's
real problem", "If only Apple had Good Management" , etc.
Seems to me the guy's doing a good job and I have seen in his
ideas a lot of business common sense.
What do you guys think?.
What would the Amelio bashers do with Apple If you had the power?.
Kindly be specific.

On another subject:
Guy Kawasaki has made a public complaint to the Press addressing the
media as Apple's true enemy.
The lust the media has for Apple's bad news is amazing!, Does anybody
know why?, Has Apple in the past being so arrogant towards the press
to cause this?.
Maybe this stories sell more papers?.

It is really annoying to visit some SI threads and find people who do not have a real clue about Apple describe it as a "Can of Worms", "Rotten Apple", "The worst thing Ellison or SUN or anybody could do is
merge with Apple", etc., specially with the recent related news.

They describe Apple as a dead company...

How can you declare a priori a company that sells 8 billion dollars
dead?? I mean Apple displaces such a big amount of money, has so much
loyalty in its market and has such an excellent technology, among
other things, that I think it is just inevitable that it will return to its glory days, perhaps adjusted in size but, very profitable.

In my business experience I have never been able to write a check drawing it from "Market Share", but from "Profits".

IMVOHO; perhaps I'm too optimistic.

Thanks for keeping up with the long post,

Fernando
