CGarcia, AOL customers are not loyal. They know what is quality content and that AOL is the only one that fits their notion of quality content.

The issue is NOT INTERNET ACCESS. I have free access from my office. But after I get that free access in my office, I cannot get ball by ball update of those baseball games in progress which are critical to the playoff picture. Futhermore, I cannot get "Instant messenger" with my son when I am in my office and my son who logs on to his AOL account from the computer lab in his school. These are examples of "cyber community" benefits.

That in my opinion is the value that AOL currently brings to the Internet arena. AOL is that "city"

Give my family a strong "reason to switch" from AOL. Save 21.95 for what they would say? Would they switch from cable TV to air broadcast TV? Surely they would if they have to live with crappy reception. But they won't settle for that now once they have experienced the super reception available via cable. Same applies to AOL.
