Large Expansion Faults Make Good Exploration Targets During our September-October 1999 sampling program we will be prioritizing thick expansion faults for both diamond and metallic mineralization environments. These fault are tears in the fabric of the earth's surface. They are leaky conduits for mineralizing fluids and would also have provided paths of low resistance for any past volcanic activities. What to they look like? How thick and long are they? Lets see.....
