Regeneron is a one man show, namely George Yancapolos, the chief scientist. He has been publish many first quality papers on Science and Nature for the last ten years. While his science is phenomenal, the company's approach of product development is dismal. I just don't see how they can get even 0.1 product to the market given their current pipeline. Most of their proteins are intracellular signal transduction stuff, which is scientifically interesting, but commercially irrelevant.
