There's not much to respond to. It seems most people on this discussion are arguing that they're not trying to "rule the world" but save others from their hellbound existence or something like that. But that's just it, just because a large amount of people believe in something doesn't mean it's right. For instance, if you stop teaching evolution, you cloud the line between facts and common beliefs. If a proven fact conflicts with a common belief, that belief is often discredited, but in the case of Christianity you have many people who believe strongly in something. Many are unwilling to accept other possibilities in fear their beliefs will be discredited. They would rather stop teaching evolution so others don't question or disregard their beliefs, and basically live a lie that sounds better than the truth.
