RE <<<INTC could be setting up for a repeat of its Jan to June trading pattern, a drop from 71 to the lower 50's.>>

Note the operative words "could be"...it is your problem if you chose to interpret my post as fact rather than what it was, a very real possibility.

<<<With tight stops in place, intc may be a great short in the next few months. Probably a sure thing if the K7 sells in any kind of volume.>>>

Have you checked intc's chart lately? My first short call may simply have been premature. No one is quite sure what intc is up to....there was a very strong expection of a preannouncement especially
after they said the second half would be better during last quarter's CC. Doesn't look like intc will preannounce this quarter.....why?.....usually when intc has a good quarter they preannounce. Then there is koppafeel. Why can't CB divulge to the world its MHz? What's the big secret? The alleged launch is only a month away.

In the meantime intc is discounting the hell out of their prices and saying they can reduce their manu. costs accordingly. But wasn't intc the one that consistently says they run a lean machine. Well how much reduction of manu. costs can they do when they already are supposed to be very lean?

You need to spend more time at your own thread....it sounds like things are beginning to unravel over there. I know, I know....its boring at the intc thread but that is the price you pay for a conservative investment....boring and conservative usually go hand in hand.
