Kash, I too feel that they should be well enough paid and genuine company men, however greed knows no bounds and offshore accounts allow those few unethical people among them to find themselves in a conflict situation.
I can also see Intel setting a deadline for Rambus to perform or die.
What I cannot understand is why they did not have two horses running. They could have had a skunkworks project as a fallback if Rambus choked, they could easily afford it and control leaks. Instead it looks as if they placed all eggs in one basket and have only recently started the second horse running from way back.
