God doesn't make mistakes.
This begs the question, can God change his mind? Can he decide he has enough souls around and change the criteria for getting into heaven? Is there a binding contract here, after all if he flooded out everyone but a couple dozen people it implies that he changed his mind at least once. Can it be claimed that following the bible, even if it was written by God, is according to God's wishes today.
