Double D, that's a good question. So often we spout off predictions about gold, but, in fact, there's little to base an opinion on, as what is really going on is very clouded. Re: whop does bullion banking? Here area couple of web sites that will help: scotiacapital.com lbma.org.uk goldinstitute.com Also, there are a number of articles about the gold market that you have probably already seen, and that will help. if you like I'll post them. These include, J Orlin Grabbe's the Gold Market, Parts 1-6; various features from www.minesite.com; and hathaway's "Golden Pyramid" which argues current bullion banking practices are fundamentally flawed.
