Dear Rick:
I was looking up stocks that offer dividends and came upon this thread for the first time today. Read almost every message, it took hours but was interesting-I only have a few to go.
I used to have Coca Cola Sara Lee and AT&T as Drips. I transferred th ko to Fidelity when they began offering dividend reinvestment last
Dec. Why do you say that isnt really the company's div. rein plan and what is the drawback?
I sold saralee to help my son buy a home and sold at&t to buy cocacola for my granddaughter! So now i dont actually have any shares that I hold myself.
If I am interested in once again doing div. rein. is it a drawback to do it through Fidelity or Datek, and if so, please explain why.
Thanks
Freeus
