Hi! Did I tell you that my Dad finally decided to buy a Dell? He studied Gateway, Compaq and Dell, before deciding on Dell, which is totally my Dad. He can't be pushed. He is pretty excited about it. Now, if they can operate it, and load software, they are in business. My Dad has a degree from Duke and a Master's too, but this is going to be Greek to him. And, he is a Dell Shareholder... Go figure! I just don't know what took my parents so long. We lived in Palo Alto, CA, for 15 years and most of our friends are in the industry. They are really cool and up-to-date on other things. They have a SUV and the latest stereo equipment and TV's, but they don't have caller id. And, forget voice mail and e-mail. They have some catching up to do to be in the next century. But, they are going to get a Dell. Better late than never... :) You never know about timing...I hope Dell rocks this week! Leigh |
