In some respects this article is more balanced than others. But it still amazes me where these reporters get their sources. The last statement amazed me, No wonder chat rooms are controversial. Rick Berry, an analyst with JP Turner in Atlanta, says, "They are detrimental to the markets." Chat rooms are (among other things) purveyors of stock recommendations and analysis. Analysts are purveyors of stock recommendations and analysis. These women went to the competition and asked them for an informed opinion. That's like going to GM and asking them what they think of Ford!

When will these reporters learn that this hype they call journalism only damages their credibility? (What little they have left.)
