I was a generation late for those high priests of hallucinogenesis. Acid had wandered from center stage ... pot and its cannabinic congeners ruled the scene ... and the stimulants (coke, crank, X and cat) were coming into their own, underlining the F*** You Generation that followed mine into the Eighties.
And from there on in ... drugs were a means to an end ... Power. Money. Sex. Suicide. The romance, the innocent cosmic Braille was gone, gone.
