paul nice try. sunw had $2.6b at jun 30. if you don't know the facts of msft's investments, why do battle with someone who does. I'm sorry, i UNDERSTATED the difference. MSFT has $31b of cash investments and equity investments on the books. But that was only as of jun 99. It's far larger today.
