Fwiw "lady" does not work well for businesswomen. Lady has an implication of the past... of "ladies who lunch" or "Ladies golf". For example if I were in a conference room with my (female) staff, and an executive was going to refer to us, he should say "the women in there", not "the ladies in there". An old guy might say ladies, and its ok, but not preferred.

I will ignore the connotation of classism in your prior post, because that would of course be ridiculous.
