jon,
I like to believe that my purpose in life is to have more happiness than unhappiness, more joy than anger and to contribute more happiness in other people's lives than unhappiness. If I have a choice, I would rather leave a smile on the faces of the people that I meet rather than a frown. I like to feel good about who I am and to help others feel good about who they are. I use the golden rule as my guideline.

I don't know if this qualifies as a "meaning of life", but it is my goal to live my life in this way.
