Christians are the salt of the earth. They are the only ones with a God given commission. That commission is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Man, in has natural state is at enmity towards God and as a result of that has nothing but a Godless eternity to look forward to. The good news is that Jesus died on the cross as a propitiation for sinful man. In other words he was willing to present himself as a sacrifice for our sins so that we might find peace with God. The scriptures clearly state that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. If men could just see their true condition and repent in all sincerity of heart then they will not find a God of judgement but a loving, compassionate, caring God who is truly concerned with the welfare of mankind.
