I'm not saying they wouldn't do that. Just saying I haven't seen it. There are lots of other interesting pcs in my data, like SEG has ALWAYS been the cheapest at the lower caps and they are always the first to lower prices to a new lower level. WDC has traditionally been the most expensive(esp now at the 7200rpm level). MXTR has been the cheapest at the higher caps(presumably because they have been the TTM leader). QNTM is always somewhere in between all of them, but as I said, their 7200rpm products are looking awfully cheap now.

BTW, I get excited every week when I see MAJOR declines across the board. I was extremely dissapointed over the last few weeks when I didn't see any declines. I still say crush the weak and get on with it. Go SEG, get more efficient at producing the cheap crap! Go MXTR, push the areal density curve harder than ever!
