Microphonics Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 1999--Microphonics (OTC BB:MRPS) (http://www.microphonics.com) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms.Susan Brownie as Chief Financial Officer of
Microphonics, Inc.

Ms. Brownie has over 13 years of experience in the areas of SEC registrations, mergers and acquisitions, and financial statements and analysis and was previously with KPMG LLP, where she was a Senior Manager. Holding a BBA degree in Accounting from the College of William and Mary, she also is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Tennessee.

Ms. Brownie's responsibilities at Microphonics will include assisting in the audit of 1997 and 1998 financials, assisting in the preparation and filing of all necessary forms with the SEC to satisfy reporting requirements, producing quarterly income and balance statements, and lending her skills to helping the company achieve its goals of growth and continued profitability.
