Qualcomm,Rogers Commun,Others Invest
Total $29M In Aeris
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Aeris Communications Inc. completed a $29 million
round of private equity financing, which included investments from Rogers
Communications Inc. (RG), Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM), Capital
Communications and a unit of Orbcomm Global.
In a press release Monday, privately-held Aeris said it will begin doing
business as Aeris.net, effective immediately, as part of the financing.
Aeris, which makes wireless connectivity products, plans to use the financing
for sales, marketing and technology applications.
