You were fair, but I think you buy into more of Weisberg's argument than I do. His assertion that when Buchanan says "media elites" or "modernists", he really means Jews is ridiculous. I once worked on a campaign with a guy who was ultra-vigilant about sniffing out anti-Semitism. We went round and round about Pat. I kept asking for proof, something tangible. What ended our little argument was him saying, "Well, hes not sufficiently sensitive." Good grief. I wish that when certain offending columns are mentioned, the person doing the accusing would provide that column. It would let the reader decide. When a single line is quoted out of context repeatedly, without supplying the accompanying text, it is just slander and calumny.
