KANAKARIS INTERTAINMENT STUDIO, BRAINCHILD OF ALEX KANAKARIS AND GEORGE ATKINSON, FOR PRODUCTION OF ONLINE AND LOW BUDGET THEATRICAL MOTION Pictures and Features is Slated to Open Facility Will Be Shared With Content /ISP Partner in Facility Totaling About 50,000 Square Feet

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sep 20, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --
Kanakaris Communications (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS) announced that it
is opening a facility for the production of online and low budget
theatrical motion pictures and features, as well as live webcasts, in
Newport Beach, California. The Kanakaris INTERtaiNmEnT(TM) Studio will
be Southern California's first fully self-contained complex offering
both audio/video production services and an integrated Internet Service
Provider with a high bandwidth direct pipeline to a major Internet hub
and 24/7 support services.

The production facility will be shared with an independent ISP for a
combined total of about 50,000 square feet in the vicinity of the 405
Freeway and Jamboree Blvd., near the John Wayne Airport, South Coast
Plaza and Fashion Island, in Newport Beach, CA. The area is a hotbed of
Internet corporate activity with a large number of public companies
located within a five mile radius of the studio. Kanakaris will retain
its current Corporate and Desience hardware/technical division offices
in nearby Costa Mesa, CA.

The concept for the studio and the new Kanakaris acronym INTERtaiNmEnT
(a hybrid of the words Internet and Entertainment) is the brainchild of
CEO Alex Kanakaris and home video pioneer and Kanakaris NetMovieMania
editor-in-chief George Atkinson.

"When I was employed by George Atkinson in the corporate offices of
what was then a network of over 600 Video Station home video rental
stores, I learned the financial power that home entertainment involving
motion pictures had to offer. The age of the Internet, with web sites
like our KKRS.Net and its www.NetMovieMania.com, creates the biggest
opportunity ever to deliver movie entertainment into the home," stated
CEO Alex Kanakaris.

"Our INTERtaiNmEnT studio, which I conceived with George Atkinson, who
is now in charge of our online motion picture development, provides
both new and established talent with a facility to create the
entertainment of the 21st Century and multiple Internet delivery
options. In addition, 35 millimeter motion pictures for theatrical
release, can be created at breakthrough cost points with the
utilization of digital video cameras and editing available at the
studio," Kanakaris added.

The Kanakaris INTERtaiNmEnT Studio will open in early 2000, and there
will be a live webcast on opening day which will be carried on the
KKRS.NetWork (www.KKRS.Net, www.kanakaris.com).
