Yes, Bay is very nice. I had a few brief chats with her when I spent 3 weeks in New Hampshire in 96 as a volunteer in the campaign. I hate to admit it, but the most fun I had there besides the rallies and victory party was hob-nobbing with the journalists. David Corn and I had several spirited arguments. I exchanged some fun barbs with Rick Hertzberg as well. I gave him my Clinton Sucks button. (Patterned after the Clinton/Gore logo) He got a kick out of that. I found Lars-Erik Nelson to be quite the gentleman, which I'm embarrassed to say surprised me. I sat with Matt Cooper for an interview and he mentioned me in his New Republic piece. He introduced me by calling me "exhibit A", LOL. But my vanity got a boost anyway. That was a very fun period.
