<the way CPI measurement is structured could have a lot to do with the government's desire to save on entitlement spending. > An economy deteriorates to the extent that it is manipulated. An economy prospers to the extent that it mirrors the productive forces underpinning it. Clearly, the US economy is prospering as it never has before. When I compare today's economy to the sorry one of the 70's, I must give considerable credit to AG and the other federal handlers. I see no reason to interject conspiracy theories here....
