Thanks Billy for the reply , Im still dense I quess ! Your right Im not going to buy a new TV and dump my cable . Ill buy a new TV if The cable co. is putting a signal into that tv that is better than I get now. Thats my concern. The big brother tells all broadcasters that they must do this by xxx date and it seems to me that all the cable subs dont get a lick out of it , or am I missing something simple here. Frankly I care more about the food channel than I do about Peter Jenings , but Id love to see High Definition Artichokes. Am I going to or not when this is all said and done.Im not sure what the figures are but there are one hell of a lot of cable subs who are not ever going to give up cable for 4 networks at HDTV. Does having the new tv by itself give you a better pic , Doesnt it matter how it is broadcast , and how will all this be met by these other broadcasters besides the big 4........Anyway , thanks again for the reply , if you can set me straight here ( or anyone please) Id appreciate it.Hope this is not too far off the CUBE interest here , great volume and nice kick , FWIW
