Neocon, it could be that some people are not well versed in the social graces. I always refer to you as a gentleman, and I know you graciously accept the tone of admiration and respect. "Gentlemen" still works in a business setting, "lady" does not. For example in a board meeting the chairman will start off with "Gentlemen...", otoh you will never see a board meeting initiated with "Ladies... we have seen 30% revenue growth this qtr, etc." Its a small thing, but an example of the complete lack of exposure to successful women these right-wingers have. Which in some ways explains their platform on social issues, most of which will be completely ignored by businesswomen if ever enacted into law.
