Maybe you cant guess where the mov avgs will go but trendlines are extendable. S&R lines are extendable. How can Gale understand your chart right off the bat? For him or anyone else to understand that they first have to understand the basics. With all the lines a Gann box offers it would be a miracle if price DIDN'T hit one of them. When you draw your own, they may be fewer in number but YOU drew them. You know exactly what and why each line was drawn. I really am not opposed to Gann boxes. All I'm trying to say is that one needs to know trendlines 101 first. After you complete 101, then make up your own mind. I think for those not fortunate enough to have GET good drawing skills can be just as beneficial and can only help you with Gann studies in the future.
