Rob, Sorry for getting back to you so late...I'm actually very happy that this new thread is up and running. First of all, did you just call up Kris or do you know him in some other way? For him to tell anyone that one of the major problems which caused the downgrade is behind the company is quite interesting. If it is indeed true and he mentions this in the press release on Thursday morning, then we will most likely see 30+ by Friday (in fact, with the improved tone in the technology sector these past 2 days, I would not be surprised to see ATML trading around the 27-28 mark by Wednesday's close in anticipation of the announcement). Although I usually have a win-win option strategy setup before earnings announcements, I have yet to decide on a plan for next week (perhaps just purchase PUTs if/when the stock rallies pre-earnings just in case...you can never be sure what may or may not happen afterward since Wall Street is quite irrational in its thinking nowadays).
