RS - RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept 20 (Reuters) - New York-based upstart satellite telephone company Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd. said Monday it will invest $180 million in Brazil, where it plans to launch phone services next January. Any ideas why G* is an "upstart" ???? Is (or should I say was) I* an "upstart" ?? BTW did you norice that G* expects some 500,000 phone lines in Brazil by 2005? Well I was just thinking....if Brazil 500,000 and US?? and India?? and Middle East??? and if China comes comes on well all the better but it looks quite good even without it. Best regards, L
