What do all of you think of this:

Tiny MPEG device heads for NAB
DiviCom comes to the giant NAB show in Las Vegas this week with what it claims is the world's smallest MPEG-2 encoder and digital video exciter. The 3-inch-tall device promises to make digital newsgathering and digital-satellite uplinks a reality for TV field reporters. Today, video is sent to the TV studio in analog, via satellite, using an entire transponder. With the new device, a field crew can compress the material in MPEG-2, modulate it in QPSK and send it off, using only one-seventh the bandwidth of one transponder.

Set your links to NAB. If you are going the thread needs a report on this new gizmo.
