I heard recently that in 1994 no one wanted AOL since they were having all sorts of customer and technical problems. Look what happened since then.

My main doubt before getting a money market acct. was that netbanks offered no real advantages plus the real disadvantage of no nearby free ATM's. Now I've discovered they offer much better rates, free online bill paying, and possibly free ATM's, at least somewhere. Someone earlier in the thread said he had no problems with bill pay.

So I will be watching closely and possibly nibbling if it goes lower. Will the lack of brick and mortar continue to give them a real cost advantage? The lousy service and screw ups could turn out to be serendipitious in the long run because it drives investors away, for now.
